Seriously, if you've got a kid who needs a haircut go here! Maria is so friendly! She asked wonderful questions before she started and while she was cutting she explained to our child what she was doing. I really appreciated how she talked through the cut so there was nothing surprising. There were also plenty of toys to keep our other children busy while they waited for their cut.

María is AMAZING. I brought my 7 year old in full meltdown and she had all the tricks and skill to get him comfortable. Gave him choices, let him be in control, asked his permission, let him sit in the chair promising not to cut his hair, then asking if she can comb it, then asking if she can spray it, then cutting a tip of her own hair and then asking if she can cut some of his, then doing it by scissor and then asking at the end if he wants to see the buzzer and the asking if he wants to touch it, then asking if she can use it a little on his head. All within half an hour, miraculously, but the full extended treatment would have probably been less stressful for him at the beginning. Her demeanor and energy level was perfect. Also she has her own room so minimal distractions. Very curated space for kids and families. Highly recommend!...more
